Congrats to our 2019 Honour’s student Liam Stephenson for winning the university medal, one of the most distinguished awards based on an outstanding academic performance. Liam did his Honour’s project with us studying variant selection mechanisms in 3D printed Ti-6-4, in the framework of the AUSMURI project. Thanks also to Nima and Ryan who did an awesome job supervising his thesis. Notably, Liam is the second Honour’s student in a row in our group winning this award following Mia Maric in 2018.
