Congratulations to our Honour’s student Stella for securing the 2nd poster prize in the 2024 Materials Australia NSW undergraduate presentation competition. This event was hosted by Western Sydney University on November 28. Stella presented a poster on her Honour’s project on thermo-mechanical processing induced surface failure in Low Nb grade Alloy 718 billets. Well done!
Michael is leaving us to take up a PostDoc Fellowship at NIST Gaithersburg funded via the NRC Research Associateship Program.
