Felix, Ryan and Sophie attended TMS 2020 in sunny San Diego, California. Sophie organised a symposium on ordered precipitates in a FCC matrix and chaired the corresponding superalloy session. Felix gave his first invited talk summarising his recent results on Alloy 718, recently published in his second paper in Acta Materialia. Ryan presented results from our AUSMURI project as a talk and a poster. We enjoyed catching up with our US collaborators (team MURI) and learned a lot more about their great additive manufacturing work.

PS: Felix too received some good news. His thesis corrections have been accepted. He will be able to print new business cards after his graduation ceremony.
