Congratulations to Michael for submitting an awesome thesis on metal additive manufacturing against all odds (closed borders, Covid, electron powder bed fusion samples misbehaving…). In fact, he submitted his thesis two months ago but Sophie was at Imperial College at that time. We celebrated with American style BBQ platters, mac and cheese, etc. Also a cheers to some of our students and PostDocs who recently had great papers accepted (Cindy, Vitor, Ming, Ehsan, prolly forgot a few others – sorry). Very proud of you, Michael, and good luck with all future endeavours in AM.
