Prof. Ernst Kozeschnik is the head of the institute of materials science and technology at TU Vienna (Austria). He is the lead developer MatCalc, a software package dedicated to thermo-kinetic modelling of alloys. He visited our group for a whole week and trained PosDocs and PhD students to use MatCalc for their research. (He too enjoyed sailing with us on Sydney harbour, Aussie food and drinks.)
