Michael is leaving us to take up a PostDoc Fellowship at NIST Gaithersburg funded via the NRC Research Associateship Program. We are sad to see him leave Australia and our group, but wish him the best for his future endeavours closer to home and are proud his application was funded! We hope to stay in touch in various things additive manufacturing and modelling. We had a nice little after-work get together at the Roundhouse to say Goodbye to Michael who started his PhD with us in the midst of the pandemic. Time flies.
