The team enjoyed a massive Christmas/end of year feast at an Italian restaurant in Surry Hills on a hot and sunny summer day. This was a welcome chance to relax and reminisce on how well the team managed all challenges thrown at us during 2020. We also celebrated Nima’s promotion to Level B, which is an outstanding achievement across the pillars of research, teaching and leadership – congrats. We too enjoyed stories about Max’ and Richard’s road trip into the outback and SA. Unfortunately, three currently overseas-based students were not able to join us, but were with us in spirit.
