On a wet and rainy Monday (March 22), we enjoyed a group lunch at the UNSW Whitehouse followed by bowling at the Moore Park EQ Strike bowling place. This was another unlucky attempt to make up for our missed Christmas 2020 bushwalking and beach activity, again spoilt by the bad weather forecast. Carina and Arnab were killing it at bowling, while Sophie did not manage to strike this time, not even once. 🙁 Never-the-less, this was a great opportunity to welcome our new final year project students Bonnie, Bin and Bailey who will pursue projects on Ni-based superalloys and additive manufacturing of steels in 2021.
